“Hello Happiness!” was the short lived slogan for Country Club malt liquor, one of the first of its kind marketed to “low income” consumers in the 1950’s, to be light and refreshing with a touch of class. The beginning of a long dysfunctional relationship of alcoholism associated with people of color.
